July 4th Weekend Tradition Continues
The Waterford Speedbowl traditionally celebrates the July 4th weekend with back-to-back nights of excitement. The tradition continues with Saturday night’s Pepsi 300 and Sunday evening’s “Night of Destruction.”

Pepsi 300 - third jewel in Bowl's triple crown
Saturday night’s Pepsi 300 is the middle jewel in Waterford Speedbowl’s “Triple Crown.” Often referred to as the “midsummer classic,” it is a showcase for the ‘Bowl’s NASCAR Whelen All American Series competitors.
This will be the tenth edition of the Pepsi 300 that lists 100 lappers for the SK Modifieds and Late Models and 50 lappers for the Sportsman and Mini Stocks. The season-opening Modified Nationals and season-closing Finale are the other jewels.
The gates open at 4 PM and the first feature starts at 7.

Qualifying records in jeopardy
Existing records are jeopardy in Pepsi 300 qualifying Saturday. Kenny Horton owns the SK record, a 14.061 set last year. Dennis Botticello’s 15.446 Late Model standard is three years old. The 17.417 posted by Joe Godbout III set in 2006 will be the Mini Stock target while the Sportsman record (17.465) was established by Stone last year.

The New Waterford Speedbowl, in its continued commitment to safety for all of its competitors, has made Fast Track Medical Response Systems Bracelets
Mandatory for all drivers by June 30, 2008. This will involve drivers on both Saturday and Wednesday nights.
The price for 2008 is $39.95 each. Please follow the directions below for the sign-up procedures and more information on the program. After filling out the short registration form your fast track bracelet will be delivered to the Speedbowl for proper distribution.
