MODIFIED RACING SERIES
The Modifed Racing Series is one of New England's most popular race divisions, visiting several tracks across all of New England and New York State during their 2010 schedule, including the Speedbowl. The 'Bowl is the furthest south stop on the tour.
Several competitors on this tour have Speedbowl roots, including 2008 Series champion Chris Pasteryak, who is a past Speedbowl Legends Car champion and SK Modified competitor.
The Speedbowl played host to this touring Modified Series twice in 2009, with Doug Coby checkering the 100-lap event on May 9. The Series returned on August 15, 2009 of this past year as part of the 2nd annual Wings 'n Wheels event along with the ISMA SuperModifieds, NEMA Midgets, and the Speedbowl's SK Modifieds. Rowan Pennink won that event, marking the eighth different driver to win in as many events held at the 'Bowl.
In 2010, the Tour will make three stops at the Speedbowl. They will kick off both the Speedbowl and their own season March 27-28 at Budweiser Blastoff Weekend, as well as take part in the 3rd annual Wings 'n Wheels event on August 14, and headline Labor Day Weekend's 'Thunder on the Sound' taking place September 4.
Modified Racing Series events are very competitive at the 'Bowl, evidenced by the large fields that gather and different winners in every event ever held for the Series at the shoreline oval.

ISMA SUPERMODIFIEDS
The International SuperModified Association travels far and wide across the Northeastern U.S and Canada, dazzling fans from Ohio and Michigan to Ontario, Canada, to New Hampshire and Connecticut during their 2010 Touring season.
The jaw-dropping speeds and appearance of the SuperModified - with some of the largest slick tires used in asphalt racing and roll cage mounted wings - truly make it a unique piece of racing equipment. Add to that an offset fuel injected engine capable of producing over 800-horsepower, and the SuperModified becomes arguably the most impressive short track race car known. They routinely circle the three-eighths mile Speedbowl oval in blazing 12-second laps and are a must see for any race fan.
The ISMA Tour visited the Speedbowl twice in 2009, kicking off their season on May 23 with Chris Perley picking up the 50-lap race win. They returned on August 15, 2009 for the 2nd annual Wings 'n Wheels event along with the True Value Modified Racing Series, NEMA Midgets, and the Speedbowl's SK Modifieds with Lou Cicconi taking the checkered flag using an exciting three wide manuever.
In 2010, the Series once again kicks off their season at the Speedbowl on Memorial Day Weekend, May 29. They also will take part in the 3rd annual Wings 'n Wheels event on August 14.

PRO FOUR MODIFIEDS OF NEW ENGLAND
The Speedbowl's dedication to the Modified racecar continues by hosting this four-cylinder class of travelling Modifieds. Don't be fooled by half the ponies under the hood - the lightweight nature of these cars enable them to run laps around the Speedbowl nearly as fast as the SK Modifieds.
In 2010, they will begin their season at Budwesier Blastoff Weekend on March 27-28, and also return on April 17.
Norm Wrenn was the event winner of their 25-lap race on May 30, 2009.

ACT LATE MODEL TOUR
Racing all over the Northeast and over the border into Canada, the American-Canadian Tour is known for tight competition and highly contested events. This popular Tour visited the Speedbowl once in 2009, on June 13. The event was rained out and completed on August 8, with a classic duel between Brian Hoar and Brad Leighton going to the wire with Hoar winning.
The racecar in competition is very similar to the Speedbowl's own Late Model division. The Speedbowl's best can go toe-to-toe against the stars of the ACT Tour, making for a rivalry of home vs. away with Speedbowl fans routing on their hometown heroes. Speedbowl regulars have battled Tour regulars for podium finishes in the past.
In 2010 the ACT will make two stops to the shoreline oval. On August 21, they will battle 100 laps and they will return to crown their champion with the final ACT points race as part of the exciting Speedbowl Finale on October 9-10.

NEMA MIDGETS
No Touring division has more history at the Speedbowl than the Midgets. Midget racing took off in popularity around the WWII era and rapidly spread across the country, spearheading the construction of many short tracks still in operation today.
Midget events have been held at the Speedbowl since its opening year in 1951, and for nearly every year since. The Speedbowl's three-eighths mile slightly banked layout is widely regarded as "the perfect Midget track".
Four cylinder engines propel these lightweight racecars, and along with a roll cage mounted wing make these cars built for speed. Several Indy car and NASCAR drivers started their racing careers in Midget car racing, including Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Kasey Kahne and many others.
In 2010, the NorthEastern Midget Association will make four Speedbowl stops. They help kickoff New England Racing on March 27-28 as one of 14 divisions on Budweiser Blastoff Weekend, they are part of the annual Nostalgia Night festivities on July 24 and they are part of the successful Wings 'n Wheels formula on August 14. In addition, they will compete on September 11.
The NorthEastern Midget Association made two appearances at the Speedbowl during 2009, and tour the New England short tracks throughout their season. They are one of the fastest divisions to race at the Speedbowl. On July 25, headlining Nostalgia Weekend, Adam Cantor took the win. On August 15 as part of the 2nd annual Wings 'n Wheels event, Russ Stoehr found Victory Lane.

ALLISON LEGACY NORTH RACE SERIES
The Allison Legacy car is a three-quarter sized replica of a NASCAR Sprint Cup car powered by a four cylinder MAZDA B-2200 truck engine.
The series is a "SPEC" series designed to minimize the racing costs and place the emphasis on the driver instead of the equipment.
The Series will be part of Budweiser Blastoff Weekend March 27-28, qualifying and racing on Saturday March 27. They will return May 22, and help the Speedbowl close the season at Finale Weekend on October 9-10.
Competitors young and old race in the Series, with 18-year old Paul Tuthill winning last year's season opener. Tommy Barrett was the winner during October 2009 Finale event.
